I am grateful to Baba for this teaching, which has reminded me to enter my heart as often as possible. I work in a stressful office. Whenever I feel overwhelmed by the chaotic environment at work, I can close my eyes and breathe deeply. Often, this enables me to rest in a space of calm and healing within the abode of my heart.

Listening to this dharana brought my focus deep within. So I was already in a state of pure contentment when I began my meditation. As I meditated, I experienced that I was being gently rocked by a wave of love. I found myself in a state of peace. I also felt free—free from needs and desires. My heart was at peace.

Even now, this meditation experience seems to be anchored in my being. I am so grateful for this precious gift from my Guru. It has shown me that through putting forth simple effort, I can reconnect with my inner peace. As soon as I close my eyes and concentrate on this feeling of contentment, my whole body relaxes, and a feeling of peace arises and expands softly within me. I just need to turn within, with clear intention, and my Guru’s grace does the rest.

When I meditated with this dharana on Baba’s teaching, I focused on breathing in contentment and then letting it permeate my entire being as I breathed out. Doing this placed me in a state of deep, loving, and grateful stillness. My intention is to carry this ideal palace of the heart, filled with contentment, with me throughout the day, accessible with my every breath. In the palace of my heart, I experience that I’m sitting in the Bhagavan Nityananda Temple with Bade Baba, Gurumayi, and the worldwide sangham.
